Next Stop, Arizona
If you’re thinking of heading south for the winter, especially if you’re thinking of Arizona, you may want to start making some calls.
It seems that the snowbirds are flocking to Arizona earlier this year. According to a press release, the Arizona Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds is expecting a busier season than normal this year and some parks already have a waiting list for January through March. It seams like the colder weather than normal up north is bringing Canadians to the area a lot earlier this year.
If you watched this week’s show, Evanne Schmarder did a story on the Tucson area which she has enjoyed for a few winters. In the story she shows some of the ‘out-of-the-way’ places that the locals frequent and you won’t find in the tourist brochures.
