ROTV, RVBusiness ‘RV Of The Year’ Show Will Air in February 2018

RVBusiness RV of the YearRollin’ On TV (ROTV) is beginning production on the “2018 RVBusiness RV of the Year Awards” show scheduled to air starting Sunday, February 11, 2018.

This is the third year that RV Business and Rollin’ On TV have partnered in producing this special event showcasing the top five finalists, as determined by the staff of RVBusiness magazine, as well as the ultimate “RV Of The Year.”

This year’s show, co-hosted by ROTV’s Jeff Johnston and Colleen Bormann, news anchor for WBND ABC 57 in South Bend, Ind., will reach a potential audience of more than 35 million households nationwide and can also be seen on streaming media through ROTV’s various stations as well as the RollinOnTV and RVBusiness websites. Title Sponsors for this year’s show are Thetford Corp., Cummins; Truma and Airxcel Inc. Special promotional spots being produced for TV and online advertising are scheduled to begin airing the week of Nov. 12.

RVBusiness magazine has been handing out this coveted award for a number of years, but it was mainly an inside-the-industry award until about five-years ago when RVBusiness Publisher Sherm Goldenberg and ROTV Executive Producer Jose Moniz decided to extend the show’s reach to millions of households nationwide to raise consumer awareness.

“All those discussions came to fruition in 2016 when the first awards show aired,” said Moniz. “And this coming January we’ll be producing the 3 rd Annual RVBusiness RV Of The Year Awards Show from The RVMH Hall of Fame and Northern Indiana Event Center located in the heart of the RV-building capitol of Elkhart, Ind.”

“In much the same way that Motor Trend’s Car of the Year highlights inventive design and engineering in the car world,” said Goldenberg, “we feel that this recreational sector – both the trade and retail sides of it – have come to enjoy viewing it much as we have enjoyed organizing and producing it.”

Production of the show is slated for the morning of Tues., Jan. 9, 2018, followed by a buffet lunch for participants and guests.
