Route 66 – Always a Historic Fun Adventure

Laurie LOVES Route 66 and we travel it quite a bit from our home in AZ. Seligman and Winslow, AZ are darn close. Laurie keeps reminding me that she doesn't have a photo of us 'Standing on a Corner in Winslow Arizona' 😉

So, when this article caught my eye this morning, 18 Kickass Places You Need To Experience On Route 66, I knew it would be worth sharing for other Route 66 fans.

Although we've driven by Cadillac Ranch more than once, I didn't realize it is the tail fins of the buried Cadillacs that are the reason for this display... did you?

This Jack Sisemore RV Museum in Amarillo is free and even the famous bus from the movie “RV” with Robin Williams is there.

We'll check this stop out on our way from MA to AZ this fall. Amarillo is usually on our route.

It's easy to just keep on driving with a quick glance at these cool objects we pass by, but stopping to 'smell the roses' and reading a bit about them before you reach them often leads to a memorable experience over a quick snapshot!
