Hi, Michelle and Laurie for “Rollin’ on TV,” and today we explore the Pigeon Forge, Tennessee area. We stayed at the Pigeon Forge KOA and made our way into Gatlinburg, which is only seven miles away, nine miles from this campground. We really like this KOA. Good attention to detail, nice amenities, and this is what we did this time.
Michelle visits the Spyglass Ridge Winery, an interesting Harvest Host destination in Sunbury, PA- It’s also a brewery, restaurant, and concert venue.
This is a fantastic RV destination if you are a sports car lover. We are here at the holy grail of Corvettes, the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. So yes, plenty of RV parking, but we’re going to go inside and get some history of this iconic American sports car. Let’s go in and drool a bit.

This family owned ocean-front campground was built in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 1959. At 19 years old, Don suggested to his dad that they build a campground. The state park was overflowing. So, they were the first campground in Myrtle Beach of its kind as it offered electric and water at the sites. Now Lakewood Camping Resort has about 1900 sites of all types and offers water parks, entertainment, miniature golf, paddle boats on their pond, and all kinds of wonderful amenities as well as a lot of ocean front to enjoy.
Michelle and Laurie, using less than a tank of gas, go camping and explore the area of Phillipston, MA – Lots to see and do.
Michelle and Laurie head off to Quartzsite, Arizona to find out for themselves why this place is the hottest winter, and we don’t mean heat, destination in the country.
Join us on this foggy morning as we eat traditional beignets at the oldest cafe, enjoy a Hurricane at the historic Pat O’Brien Bar, and see some of the sights and sounds of the crown jewel of New Orleans, established in 1718.
When taking in the local attractions, a must-do is the Johnston Ridge Mount St. Helens Visitor Center just a few miles east. When you’re visiting Washington state, especially the southwest part of the state, one of the must-see spots has got to be the Mount St. Helens Observation Point.
